Rogers Krajnak Architects, Inc. participates in the 2008 AIA Columbus Chapter Canstruction

Rogers Krajnak Architects, Inc. participated in the 2008 Canstruction event, where local architects built giant sculptures made entirely out of canned goods and other non-perishable foods to help feed hungry people in Central Ohio. All of the food used in the structures was donated to Operation Feed via Mid-Ohio Food Bank.

In response to this year's theme, "One can make a difference," Rogers Krajnak Architects, Inc. constructed one giant can made of 8 different varieties of canned goods totaling 1760. The can labels were oriented to form the giant can's label, which was an image of a knife, fork, spoon and slice of bread: the logo of Mid-Ohio Food Bank. Team Rogers Krajnak Architects and Ruscilli salutes the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, which embodies the concept of harnessing the power of individual donors and volunteers to make a difference in the lives of so many central Ohioans suffering from hunger. Rogers Krajnak Architects team's entry was recognized for "Best Use of Labels."
