Peter helps with Appalachian Project

For the fifth year in a row, Peter Krajnak spent the last week of June with his church’s Youth Group mission project rebuilding and improving the homes of those in need in Scioto County, Ohio.  Peter led a team of twelve youth and adults in the painting of Mark and Catrina’s home and the construction of a new front deck and ramp.  The ramp and deck have greatly improved Mark and Catrina’s lives by providing mobility for Mark who, as a double amputee, is confined to a wheelchair.  While Peter focused on teaching carpentry skills to the high school age youth, the real lesson was how their work has provided a whole new sense of freedom and independence for Mark.
