Saving the Sullivan

Rogers Krajnak Architects recently presented a preview of the proposed design for the restoration of the Louis Sullivan Building of Newark, a national landmark originally designed in 1914 by noted American Architect, Louis H. Sullivan.  Peter Krajnak provided an overview of Sullivan’s career, the 102-year history of the Louis Sullivan Building of Newark, an explanation of the design process, and a flythrough of RKA’s 3D computer model of the project.  The project will preserve the building’s historic significance while transforming the former bank building into a future Visitors Center for Licking County.  The presentation to a gathering of invited guests was held on the stage of the historic Midland Theatre in downtown Newark, Ohio.
