Transformation of Coastal Home in Maine

The owners of this home required more than just a refresh for the renovation of this home, which is located on the shoreline of Penobscot Bay, near Castine, Maine.  A new kitchen, expanded study, and renovated Master Suite were reconfigured as the dark knotty pine gave way to a brighter, more cheerful interior finishes.  A new stair with cable railings was created to access one of the two lofts, while new cable railings were installed around the outdoor deck to enhance the unobstructed views through the birch trees to the bay beyond.  The exterior boasts a bold new color scheme with its blue siding, white trim, and chartreuse doors.
