RKA recognized by The Engineered Wood Association for its innovative use of engineered wood products in national campaign

For its new advertising campaign in national AEC publications, APA highlights RKA's use of engineered wood products in the renovation of its downtown Columbus office:

"When Rogers Krajnak Architects, Inc. decided it needed new space, it chose to renovate an old automotive sales repair building. The aesthetic goal was to celebrate the 'simple, industrial character' of the existing building, while showcasing the firm's talent in the adaptive reuse of older structures. A new roof featuring exposed glulam beams and plywood sheathing was attached above the old steel frame. The result is a simple, yet beautiful mesh of structural components that met their aesthetic an budgetary requirements."
